Lindsay Hohertz works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, school issues, childhood trauma, self-esteem, relationship concerns, processing of grief and loss, and suicidal ideation reduction.
Lindsay has 10 years of experience working in the fields of foster care and adoption. She has also spent several years as a Social Worker in K-12 school systems, crisis counseling centers and nonprofit environments.
Currently, she works with college students as part of the Counseling Center team advocating for mental health awareness, resource sharing and promotion of health functioning for this population.
In addition to private practice, Lindsay facilitates mental health groups and trainings with clients and community members in education settings.
Lindsay is a fully Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in Iowa and earned her Master's degree in Social Work, with a school social work endorsement, from the University of Iowa. Before earning her Master's, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Social Welfare and Art at Augustana College.
